’Flambards’ by K.M. Peyton. Illustrated by Victor Ambrus. Published by Oxford University Press. 1967. UK 1st edition. The book is in near fine condition with no marks and a single name written neatly at the top of the fep. There are the faint remains of some glue residue on the bottom of the front cover, where presumably the wrapper has been attached. The dust wrapper is also in near fine condition and is not price clipped, with a new publishers price label attached. The top edge of the front cover is slightly creased. The first Flambards book and scarce.
