Both books are in near fine condition with no marks or inscriptions, with very light bumping to the top of the spine and corners. The books appear unread.
The dustwrappers are in near fine condition and are not price clipped, with sunning to the spines.
The slip case has light wear to the corners and sellotape attached by the former owner to the top of the spine/front cover join, where the corner has been bumped.
Each book contains fifty illustrations of Sir John Tenniel's original illustrations, including eight colour plates.
