The book is in very good condition, with no inscriptions and wear to the top/base and edges of the spine and corners . There is foxing to the fep and title pages, and a prize label dated 1958 attached to the fep.
The book contains a colour frontis and 60 line drawings by Nina K. Brisley, better known for her illustrations of the Chalet School titles.
