‘The Hole in the Hedge’ written and illustrated by Grace Lodge. Published by Hutchinson. Undated (1948.) UK 1st edition.
The book is in very good condition with a small gift inscription to the fep. There is rubbing to the top of the spine and a crease running across the bottom section of the front cover which is visible to the inside cover page only. There is a small mark to the rear cover. Internally the pages are clear and bright and mark free.
The dust wrapper is in very good + condition and is not price clipped, with wear and small tears to the top of the spine and wear to the corners. The covers are a touch dusty in the white areas. The wrapper comes in a clear unattached protective cover.
As well as numerous line drawings, the book contains all seven full page colour illustrations. A beautiful book.
